JEFAS Latinas in Business Magazine – Letter from Editor

Christina Fernández-Morrow Editor-in-Chief
What a joy it has been to tell these stories. I especially love working with talented writers, photographers, designers, editors, and translators from Latino communities across the state who love these stories as much as I do. I am fortunate to hear how these remarkable women make the impossible possible with determination, ingenuity, a little guidance, and a lot of ganas.
When JEFAS Latinas in Business Magazine was nothing more than an idea, it seemed far-fetched. Today, I can’t imagine our business and publishing landscapes without it. The stories are rich with practical tips for not only being a boss but doing so with grace, dignity, and a heart for service that extends beyond the business. Every JEFA works hard to fulfill her dreams while finding ways of sharing their talents with those in their communities. They embody the spirit of collaboration in ways that enrich their businesses, families, and those who have the pleasure of working with them or hearing their stories. If you’ve ever wished for the courage to change your life and start a new path, these are the women you should aspire to. Read their stories, take the consejos to heart, and picture yourself making JEFA moves.
As we continue to find JEFAS willing to share their amazing stories, my excitement grows. There are so many more stories waiting to be told and my goal is to tell them with the same passion and conviction as they are shared with me.
Hasta la próxima,
