The Third Annual Latina Business Excellence Summit will take place this summer, bringing together current and aspiring Latina entrepreneurs from across the Midwest and beyond for a full day of learning, connection, and inspiration. Additional event details, including date, location, and speaker lineup, will be announced soon.
This one-day summit will feature a keynote address, expert-led panel discussions, hands-on workshops, and networking sessions designed to help attendees make meaningful connections. Whether participants are launching their first venture or scaling an established business, the summit will offer practical tools, real-world insights, and encouragement to support their next steps.
The Reality for Latina Entrepreneurs
Behind every Latina-owned business there are years of work, family responsibilities, and tough decisions made along the way. Across the United States, Latinas now own more than 2.7 million businesses. In recent years, Latina-owned businesses have grown at nearly twice the rate of all women-owned businesses, generating more than $150 billion in annual revenue.
That growth is significant, but many Latina entrepreneurs still face real barriers: limited access to funding, mentorship, and traditional business networks. Too often, they are building alone.
The Latina Business Excellence Summit was created in direct response to those realities. It offers a space where Latina business owners and founders can share experiences openly, learn from one another, and gain access to information and connections that are not always easy to find. By bringing entrepreneurs, experts, and community partners into the same room, the summit helps move ideas, goals, and plans from “someday” to concrete action.
Who Should Attend
The summit is open to anyone with entrepreneurial goals or responsibilities, including:
- People exploring their first business idea
- New founders in their first years of operation
- Established business owners looking to grow, hire, or expand
- Professionals who support Latina-owned businesses through finance, marketing, law, or community work
The day is designed to be collaborative and welcoming, celebrating the ambition, creativity, and leadership of Latina entrepreneurs.
