The Aug. 21 gathering will welcome entrepreneurs, professionals, business owners, community leaders and allies from across the Omaha area.
JEFAS® Magazine will host a Latina networking event in Omaha on Friday, Aug. 21. It will welcome entrepreneurs, professionals, business owners, community leaders and allies.
Guests can meet people building businesses, careers and community projects across the Omaha area.
The event will run from 5 to 7 p.m. at Greater Omaha Chamber. The venue is located at 808 Conagra Drive, Suite 400.
First, a brief welcome program will begin at 5:30 p.m. Afterward, attendees can introduce themselves, discuss their work and learn about projects across the region.
Light appetizers and refreshments will be available. In addition, the event will feature giveaways, raffle prizes and information about upcoming JEFAS programs.

Most of the two-hour program remains open for conversation
The Omaha event is part of the JEFAS® Networking Event Series. The series creates smaller gatherings for Latina entrepreneurs, professionals and community leaders.
Still, attendees do not need to own a business. The invitation also extends to professionals developing their careers and people exploring entrepreneurship. Allies who support Latina-owned businesses and leadership are welcome as well.
Most of the schedule remains open for conversation. As a result, participants will have time to explain what they do and hear about other local work. They may also meet people outside their usual professional circles.
Previous JEFAS gatherings show what can follow an introduction. For example, attendees have reported scheduling meetings with prospective clients. Contributors have also found referrals, work and collaborations through the JEFAS community.
These results support a broader effort to make Latina entrepreneurs more visible. In addition, JEFAS helps women find one another across the Midwest.
JEFAS described that work when the magazine marked its second anniversary. A conversation can lead to a call, a project or a referral long after an event ends.
The gathering continues JEFAS’ growth in Nebraska
JEFAS published its first Nebraska edition in February 2026. The expansion brought more Nebraska entrepreneurs, professionals and community leaders into the magazine’s coverage.
Now, the Omaha gathering continues that work beyond the printed page. It gives women another place to share ideas and learn about local businesses. It also helps them build a professional circle rooted in Nebraska.
Attendees will also receive information about the 2026 JEFAS® Business Excellence Summit. The summit will take place Sept. 4 in Des Moines.
The annual event offers business education, leadership development and regional networking for Latina entrepreneurs across the Midwest.
