By JEFAS Magazine
Lincoln’s Latino business community will have a reason to celebrate on Monday, November 9, 2026, when the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce hosts the inaugural Latino Connect Excellence in Business Awards.
JEFAS® Latinas in Business Magazine is among the event’s sponsors, supporting an evening dedicated to recognizing the achievements, leadership and contributions of Latino entrepreneurs and businesses in Lincoln.
The celebration will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. at DelRay 817, located at 817 R Street.
JEFAS® invites Latina entrepreneurs, business owners and professionals from Omaha and Fremont to join their counterparts in Lincoln for an evening of celebration and connection. The gathering offers an opportunity to recognize the achievements of Latino-owned businesses while strengthening relationships across Nebraska’s entrepreneurial community.
JEFAS® has been expanding its presence in Nebraska since publishing its first Nebraska edition in February 2026. In August, the magazine organized a networking event for Latina entrepreneurs and professionals in Omaha, bringing together business owners, community leaders and supporters.
The awards are part of Latino Connect, a Lincoln Chamber of Commerce program that provides business education and networking opportunities while fostering relationships among Hispanic and Latino entrepreneurs.
